“My initial experience with the folks from Ultra, Inc. was through our property manager (Lerner) at a high-rise building in Fairfax, Virginia.  Lerner had solicited bids from three local contractors to install new carpet and paint offices in a space of approximately 21 ksf.   We (Lockheed Martin tenants) selected Ultra’s bid from the other contractors; their price was competitive and their proposal was the most detailed and analytical of the three.  This proved to be a smart decision on our part.

Ultra assigned a project manager to the job who was very thorough and customer-oriented.  Glenn listened to all of our concerns and coordinated his in-house and subcontractor teams as needed to suit our (sometimes) difficult requirements.  Personal belongings and furniture were moved carefully in almost (65) offices and either relocated to a common area and returned – or covered carefully to prevent inadvertent damage or residue from the scheduled work.  The painters and carpet installers completed all work with high quality results and corrected all punchlist items promptly.  The vinyl tile installers also did a good job and paid attention to all the details – a refreshing change from what I was used to seeing.  These folks completed all work during off-hours and weekends to minimize the operational impact to our tenants, which we appreciated greatly.

In summary, Ultra’s team executed a complex project with superior results at a reasonable price.  Lockheed Martin , along with the Lerner team, is pleased with the results and grateful for the attention to detail and customer service.  We look forward to additional business with them in the future.”
