Dramatic Office Space Rehab — Fairfax, Virginia

Extensive renovations of this Fairfax office suite resulted in a striking transformation, and was completed in just 16 days so the new tenant could move in on time.

The project included everything from construction repairs, painting, wallcoverings and millwork, to electrical work and finishing details.

Ultra Company started out by removing old wallcoverings, baseboards, carpets, counters and shelving, and then repaired large areas of damage before prepping surfaces and installing the new upgraded materials.

Carefully protecting all non-painted surfaces, Ultra applied new wall finishes of designer paint colors to the entire suite, including an accent wall in each office, as well as touching up the wood-stained doors.

The main reception area got a dramatic facelift by replacing the old laminate transaction counter with sleek black granite, and installing a credenza of mahogany wood base cabinets with a matching granite top.

Throughout the space, Ultra Company installed upgraded carpet with a border accent, new baseboards and light fixtures, telephone/data wiring, and wood crown and base moldings were added to the conference room. In the kitchen, new counters were retrofitted to the existing configuration and new appliances installed.

Work was performed in a combination of day and evening hours in order to expedite the job, and to keep the noise level down for other tenants during business hours.
